Jasmine Jones
Jasmine Jones is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion and Textile Management. As the Founder and President of Primplife Inc., Jones is dedicated to empowering young girls. Her passion for this mission began at just 16 years old when she co-authored the Prudential Community Award-winning book How To Primp Life: The Prim and Proper Guide for Young Ladies, a self-help guide designed to build confidence in young women.
In 2016, Jones was chosen to participate in the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U), a prestigious program founded by President Bill Clinton to unite students taking action on critical global issues. Through this initiative, Jones joined a network of over 12,500 students who are working to create meaningful change across more than 160 countries.
Jones is also an accomplished pageant competitor, having placed in the top 5 for the Miss North Carolina International pageant. At the heart of her vision is #Primpgirl, a powerful female superheroine of color and the star of the Primplife comic book series. #Primpgirl serves as a role model, inspiring confidence and strength in young girls, and helping them realize their potential to contribute positively to society.
Through Primplife Inc., Jones continues to bring her vision to life, leading an organization that is dedicated to helping young girls succeed, grow their self-confidence, and make a lasting impact in their communities.
Dexter Jones
Minister Dexter Jones is the CEO of Eden Wellness Moringa, organic health, and wellness company. Jones is a published author and very involved in community outreach in Goldsboro, North Carolina, one of the primary service locations of Primplife Inc. Jones manages and oversees the financial affairs of the organization. With over 30 years of business experience within sales, fundraising, management, and entrepreneurship, Dexter Jones is a huge integral in Primplife Inc.
Shanda Sumpter
Jasmine Tranai
Jasmine Tranai Rhodes is a successful African American fashion designer and the proud owner of the emerging fashion brand, Kitty and Rhodes. Though born in New Jersey, she spent her formative years in Elizabethtown, NC, where her passion for the creative industry was ignited. As an undergraduate student at North Carolina State University, she specialized in Fashion and Textiles Management. During her time at the university, she pursued various creative ventures, including theatre performances and fashion shows. She also served as the president of the resident modeling troupe, Black Finesse.
Jasmine credits her time in the modeling troupe as the foundation for learning confidence, poise, and grace. She participated in pageantry and even created a program called ReModel-U, aimed at teaching young girls modeling techniques while promoting self-love and confidence.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textiles Management from NCSU, she obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Jasmine has since worked with leading fashion retailers in the design field. In addition to her corporate work, she runs her fashion business, manages a photography studio, coaches models, and works as a social media influencer, creating content for her brand clients.
Jasmine has been recognized for her contributions to the fashion industry, including being awarded NC Emerging Designer of the Year and winning the Judges Choice award at the Goodwill Rock the Runway event. Her ultimate goal is to remain a leading figure in the fashion world, while being a positive influence in her community through service and leadership.

Primplife spokesparents are essential supporters of our spokesgirls, volunteering their time and energy to ensure the success of our workshops and events. These dedicated guardians help create a positive and enriching experience for their daughters, reinforcing values of community and mentorship as their girls lead and inspire others.

Meka Dudley
Meka Dudley is the very proud and loving mother of Sarai Quarles. She is a childcare educator and has a very beautiful relationship with her daughter and mini best friend Sarai. Meka Dudley is also our #PRIMPLIFE decorator and uses her creative skills to make our workshops the beautiful settings that they are.
Dr. Renita L. Webb
Dr. Renita L. Webb is the proud and supportive mother of Reign and Rion Webb. She encourages them to achieve their ambitions while also giving them the space to be joyful and authentic little girls. She is an experienced educational leader with a demonstrated history of working in the educational management industry. She also reigned as Mrs. Black NC 2019. She is skilled in Coaching, Public Speaking, Event Production, K-12 Education, Educational Consulting, and Conflict Resolution. Her work with The Refining Life, Inc. allows her to help fulfill the mission of providing experiences for others to have their mindset shifted so that they can lead a more positive and productive life.

Dedrick Moone
Dedrick is a very proud father of Haelee P. Moone. He is also the co-author of The Unexpected Journey: Fire and Gold, written alongside his daughter Haelee. Dedrick is a very involved father and supports Haelee to achieve all her ambitions.
Shawnta Clark
Shawnta Clark is an original PRIMPLIFE family member and the mother of two of our original superstars, Paige & Zo. Shawnta Clark is also one of the stars of “The Adventures of Primpgirl & Friends”, famously known as Momma Shawnta. She is an encouraging and loving parent and all around beautiful soul. Shawnta and her husband are very proud of their girls.
